Structural Designer

We're hiring a Structural Designer! What you'll do:

• Collaborate with structural engineers to design buildings, foundations, and steel/masonry structures
• Develop material take-offs and provide quality oversight on structural designs
• Solve design challenges by coordinating with other disciplines
• Serve as the primary structural contact for projects when needed
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to structural hour estimates for projects and proposals

What you bring:

• 4+ years of experience with commercial or heavy industrial/manufacturing projects
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD (at least 1 year)
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to travel (10%+) and perform field/site visits

Bonus skills:

• Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of structural engineering codes and standards
