What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with structural engineers to design buildings, foundations, and steel/masonry structures
- Develop material take-offs and provide quality oversight on structural designs
- Solve design challenges by coordinating with other disciplines
- Serve as the primary structural contact for projects when needed
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to structural hour estimates for projects and proposals
What you bring:
- 4+ years of experience with commercial or heavy industrial/manufacturing projects
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD (at least 1 year)
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to travel (10%+) and perform field/site visits
Bonus skills:
- Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of structural engineering codes and standards
