What you'll do:
Develop 3D Building Information Models (BIM) and structural analysis/design models using advanced software for projects of all complexities.
Perform computer-aided and hand-calculated structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems, including highly complex structures.
Prepare Construction Documents using Autodesk Revit.
Coordinate structural design with architects and other engineering disciplines at an intermediate level.
Review structural submittals and RFIs of all levels of complexity.
Conduct Construction Observation and Special Inspections for internal and external projects.
Prepare organized, clear, and accurate structural calculations and high-quality structural plans and details.
Discuss allocated time per task regularly with the Project Manager and assist with introductory project management activities.
Provide introductory supervision and guidance to junior Engineers when needed.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables and reports.
Log time daily and communicate progress in alignment with project schedules.
What you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Advanced English level.
1 to 4 years of experience in structural engineering.
Experience working on residential multifamily projects.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and RAM (SS or Concept).
Strong grasp of statics, mechanics of materials, and structural analysis (traditional and matrix-based).
Working knowledge of concrete, wood framing, and steel framing systems.
Advanced understanding of model building codes (FBC, IBC) and design standards (ASCE-7).
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work with moderate independence.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Clear communication skills, using correct technical terminology with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
A great plus:
Advanced understanding of material codes and standards (ACI-318, AISC Steel Construction Manual).
Experience using tools such as Enercalc or similar structural design software.
Familiarity with field observation and inspection techniques for large and complex projects.
Experience reviewing submittals, RFIs, and coordinating across disciplines.
A positive, collaborative attitude with an interest in mentoring colleagues and contributing to team culture.
Active interest in continuous learning through codes, textbooks, manuals, and industry publications.
