We are seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer within our Transportation and Municipal Engineering team. We have some exciting projects in the pipeline with more on the horizon! Qualified candidates should be strong communicators and multi-taskers who can work on several projects at once, while mentoring and leading a team. Projects include working on varied projects for INDOT, counties, and municipalities.
General Responsibilities Include
- Design and prepare engineering drawings for Structural projects - bridges, retaining walls, culverts.
- Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.
- Handle client relations as needed.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of structural / bridge designs completed by others.
- Other support as required.
- Work closely with other Practice Areas on multi-discipline projects.
Qualifications
- Must have a civil engineer degree.
- 8 + years of related experience of bridge design, analysis, load rating and inspection.
- Experience on projects for clients such as INDOT, County DOTs and local municipalities.
- PE License required. SE license or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Microstation/OpenBridge proficiency.
