TITLE: STRONG BEGINNINGS TEACHER
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: Building Director/Supervisor
SUPERVISES: Strong Beginnings Associate Teacher
JOB GOAL: The Strong Beginnings Lead Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality early childhood learning environment that aligns with the Strong Beginnings standards and fosters growth across all domains of development.

Employee must be capable of performing physical demands of the job, including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for long periods of time. Work environment has a raised noise level.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Within the first 30 days of employment and every year after (as long as remaining in the position) employee must complete the following: Infant, Child, & Adult CPR, first aid, blood borne pathogen training, and 16 clock hours of training in child development, curriculum, child discipline, health/safety, nutrition, working with parents, licensing rules for child care centers, and/or other relevant educational topics.
EVALUATION: Annual evaluation conducted by the Building Director/Supervisor.
