    Job Description:
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stress and Lifing Analyst to join our team, where you will play a key role in supporting the reliability and safety of our products throughout their service life. You will be responsible for performing structural analysis on a range of static components, including casings, bearing supports, frames, and mounts.
    These components are essential to the integrity of the aircraft and are subjected to a variety of complex loading conditions, such as thermal, pressure, and mechanical loads. You will apply advanced analysis techniques to ensure these parts meet stringent safety and durability requirements. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide guidance to junior analysts as you continue to develop your own expertise.     What you will be doing:
    Perform mechanical integrity, stress, and lifing assessments using finite element analysis and other numerical modeling techniques.
    Contribute to problem-solving activities by identifying root causes and developing effective solutions through detailed analysis.
    Participate in peer reviews of analysis projects, helping to maintain technical quality and sharing knowledge within the team.
    Communicate analysis results and recommendations to customers and cross-functional teams, both in written reports and presentations.
    Engage with the wider engineering community to share knowledge, learn best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in tools, processes, and methods.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience, OR
    Master's degree in Engineering, OR
    PhD in Engineering
    In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Person

    Preferred Requirements:
    3+ years ANSYS Workbench experience required. ANSYS APDL experience in addition to Workbench is preferred.
    Must have 5 or more years of hands-on experience in conducting mechanical integrity, stress and lifing assessments using finite element analysis and other numerical models
    Ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters
    Knowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks
    Membership of a relevant professional body appropriate to region
    Good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization

    Hard Requirements:
    5+ years Ansys experience
    Gas turbines experience
    Dynamics
    Bachelor s in Engineering or Physics (STEM)
    Preferred Skill:
    Experience in strain gauge placement or blade tip timing
