Season Dates and Hours

• School year Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10-16/week
• Summer Monday-Thursday: 15-20/week

Job Duties and Responsibilities

General Duties

The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach will design and implement programs for student-athletes with an emphasis on sports performance. Duties of the Strength Coach include:

• Lead and Supervise workout sessions for assigned teams
• Teach and instruct proper weightlifting techniques, including Olympic lifts.
• Modify workouts for injured/rehabilitating athletes.
• Assist with general operation and maintenance of the weight room facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an exercise related field
• NSCA CSCS Certification (or working towards)
• Previous coaching experience
• Background knowledge in strength and conditioning
• Must be able to properly demonstrate a variety of strength and conditioning exercises and drills
