Job Summary and Qualifications

Summary:

Strategy Finance Directors are key team members of our executive-level strategy engagements. Within a team environment, Finance Managers are responsible for complex analyses, interviews, hypothesis generation, and development and presentation of recommendations. Contextual understanding of healthcare and the HCA Healthcare environment is important, as well as qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and executive communication capabilities, both written and verbal. We seek team members who are intellectually curious, collaborative, dynamic and able to excel in new and changing environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to manage and support pilot, launch and execution of complex, cross-functional projects, including resiliency plans and the integration of material acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
  • Track initiative progress against defined milestones, financial targets, and timelines; identify risks, gaps, and opportunity.
  • Analyze trends and outcomes across initiatives to highlight successful practices, emerging insights, and opportunities for broader enterprise replication.
  • Manage monitoring and tracking of financial value realization to the income statement across assigned strategy and resiliency initiatives, including coordination with workstream leads, facilities, and corporate partners to collect, validate, and synthesize performance data.
  • Support governance execution and align key stakeholders by leading the development, maintenance, and refinement of analytical material, playbooks and other communications used for enterprise, division, and field resiliency governance forums.
  • Coordinate with enterprise, division and facilities to maintain and enhance centralized tracking tools and dashboards.
  • Create environment of high visibility and transparency across multiple constituencies.

Education:

  • Undergraduate required.
  • MBA/MHA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Healthcare via work or education required
  • Consulting or Financial preferred
