// WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Strategy Director to help inspire and shape the work for one of America’s biggest brands.

Joining us, you’ll lead strategy across major client assignments and partner with a variety of disciplines – business leaders, creatives, designers, and more – to inspire direction that leads to powerful work.  

You’ll report to the VP, Group Strategy Director and have the opportunity to guide a brand who’s newly stepping into a variety of fandoms in a big way. 

// HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Be thechampion for boththe brand and the customer, leading strategyassignmentsand creative briefsthatfuelimpactful work

  • Own the work,properly managingprojects toa high standardandflagging barriersthat get in the wayof greatness

  • Inspire teams and clientswithwell-designed, story-drivenpresentations thatare rich inactionablecustomer, cultural, and competitive insights

  • Work alongside creativesand designersfrom ideainceptionto execution, ensuringour workconsistentlyaligns with businessobjectivesand client priorities

  • Ensure work isproperlymeasured, collaborating with research, analytics, and clients to capturekey data and creatingdigestibleperformance reportsthatproveimpact

  • Inspire our teams and clients with thought leadershipon a regularbasis, which could guide existing work or inspirenew ideas

// HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS):

  • Must have7+ yearsofexperience in brandstrategy,working for brand, creativeor integrated agency

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • A passion for sports(soccerisa majorplus)`

  • Experience managing projects, start to finish, with excellence

  • Mastery of brand strategy elements, like brand positioning, audience profiling,brand architecture,and messaging strategies

  • Excellentstorytelling,presentationand creative writing capabilities

  • Experience working with retail brands and/or retailer trade and marketing teamsa plus

  • Hands-on qualitative and quantitative research experience

  • Strong foundationof business

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
