    Job Details:

    Job Title Product UX Designer
    Location Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
    Duration Long Term Contract

    About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, strategic UX Designer to join our established in-house product design team in Dallas, TX.

Important Note: This is a pure product UX design role, not a front-end UI developer or UI engineering position. You will own the interaction architecture, research, wireframing, and user journeys rather than writing production code.

In this role, you will tackle high-density data, operational logic, and complex workflows. You will focus on enterprise tooling specifically scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce planning systems (similar to PlanIt). Working within an agile engineering pod alongside Product Owners, you will translate intricate operational requirements into intuitive, scalable, and elegant digital experiences.

    What You'll Do
    • Own the UX Process: Drive end-to-end user experience design from discovery through delivery conducting user research, mapping service blueprints/user journeys, defining information architecture, and creating interaction models.
    • Prototyping & Wireframing: Produce low-to-high-fidelity wireframes, task flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma to test, validate, and communicate complex concepts.
    • Enterprise Product Focus: Design intuitive solutions for complex operational software, multi-tiered permission structures, and workforce-planning/scheduling workflows.
    • Design System Stewardship: Work seamlessly within our existing design system and standards, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across modules.
    • Critique & Collaboration: Actively participate in structured design reviews and critiques with senior design leadership, articulating the rationale behind design choices while incorporating constructive feedback.
    • Pod Alignment: Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and dedicated engineering pods to ensure technical feasibility and design integrity from handoff to release.
    What We're Looking For
    • Proven Enterprise UX Experience: 8+ years of dedicated UX/Product Design experience focused on complex SaaS, B2B, or enterprise operational tools (prior experience in workforce management, resource scheduling, or logistics/ERP tooling is strongly preferred).
    • Figma Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, interactive prototyping, and design library management).
    • Strong Portfolio & Case Studies: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing deep problem-solving skills, research synthesis, user journey maps, edge-case handling, and measurable product impact (not just finished visual mockups).
    • Critique Resilience & Communication: Demonstrated ability to thrive within an established, high-maturity UX team with rigorous review processes and high visual/interaction design standards.
    • User-First, Code-Free Focus: Passion for user-centric problem solving, usability testing, and interaction design without being bogged down by coding front-end markup.
    Nice to Have
    • Direct experience designing or optimizing products akin to PlanIt, Kronos/UKG, Deputy, or proprietary scheduling/dispatch engines.
    • Experience facilitating workshops and design sprints with cross-functional operational stakeholders.
