Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a fast-growing, sustainability-focused construction manufacturer, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in strategic procurement and supplier negotiations looking to further their career in manufacturing supply chain.
Develop category sourcing strategies across demand, supply base, pricing, and risk
Lead supplier negotiations; administer master supply agreements and blanket POs
Perform commodity analysis; partner with Engineering on multi-plant material forecasts
Select and develop suppliers; mitigate cost, capacity, quality, and supply risk
Track savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance with cross-functional teams
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5-7+ years of strategic sourcing experience with category strategy and measurable savings; $50M+ spend managed (any industry)
Strong negotiation skills; proficient in Excel and ERP/MRP systems
Bonus Qualifications
Construction/manufacturing experience sourcing steel, concrete, glass, or rebar
Shifted project-based purchasing to forecast- or contract-based sourcing
SQL and Power BI experience
