    Description

    The Sourcing Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities in assigned projects, supply base, and/or categories; with goal to obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. The Sourcing Manager will lead the development and implementation of projects and strategies related to product transfers, cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization and rationalization, risk assessments, and new product introductions.

     

    Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

     

    • This resource will leading Strategic Sourcing activities for a critical product transfer. 
    • They will be required to interact with multiple functional groups to add suppliers to Approved supplier listings, identify when supplier additions will not meet required dates and define cross-functional mitigation strategies for critical materials to support the product transfers. 
    • The resource will interact will interact with suppliers as needed, provide communications of transfers to the supply base and ensure continuity of supply during transitions. 
    • The resource will communicate with multiple PM's across the project to keep them updated on progress of the Sourcing project workstream.


    Requirements

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business, Finance, Engineering or Science related field 
    • 5 years + Managing complex Sourcing projects, Communication, Strong Analytical skills 
    • Experience with PowerBI and Enterprise ERP Systems
    • Contract Only
