Strategic Sourcing ManagerThe Strategic Sourcing Manager leads sourcing and procurement initiatives that improve cost, quality, supplier performance, and supply chain reliability. This role partners with operations, engineering, and quality teams to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and support the efficient procurement of materials and services.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and support operational growth.Identify, evaluate, qualify, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, delivery performance, and cost effectiveness.Lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts, and establish long-term supplier partnerships.Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, metrics, and performance reviews while driving continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support new product introductions and resolve supplier-related challenges.Conduct market research and cost analyses to identify savings opportunities, mitigate risk, and create value across the supply base.Maintain sourcing documentation, supplier agreements, compliance records, and procurement data.Drive supplier development programs, risk mitigation strategies, and supply chain continuity plans.Support regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives, and procurement best practices.Foster cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
