- Client is looking Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager . Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing, this role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and support Client's sourcing activities.
- As a key player in our organization, you will spearhead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies across multiple categories, contributing significantly to the continued success and growth of our company.
- Review historical spending and purchases to develop new category strategies
- Identify process improvement opportunities in sourcing & supplier interactions
- Build and execute negotiation strategies & develop award recommendations
- Evaluate current suppliers & advise stakeholders on new and existing contracts
- Own sourcing events end to end; develop, manage & document requirements process
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations
- Draft contract language and work with business units to define requirements
- Identify, analyze, & mitigate contractual risk
- Provide support in vendor relationship management, escalation, & dispute resolution
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
- 8-10 years of relevant management experience in the area of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and business analysis
- Demonstrated results and value realization from sourcing activities
- Procurement and/or Supply Chain related professional certification preferred
- Results-oriented mentality with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality
