Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Job TitleJob Description Required Education: High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Qualifications:Analyze markets, supply chains, and the supply base to support strategic sourcing initiatives and process improvementsIdentify and evaluate qualified suppliers while executing sound source-selection strategiesMaintain regular communication with suppliers to build and strengthen supplier relationships and ensure effective collaborationApply sourcing principles to support supply assurance and continuity, while managing sourcing projects in accordance with established project deliverables, timelines, and objectivesResponsibilities:Procures inventory, supplies, and capital goods; places purchase orders with vendorsAnalyzes sourcing and procurement initiatives and processes in support of the delivery of cost effective and high quality goods and servicesSupports providing the Value Capture Summaries at month and quarter endsPrepares and presents recommendations of improvement opportunities and alternative courses of action to senior procurement/sourcing leadersConsistently applies sourcing policies, procedures and processesSupports procurement/sourcing management in activities such as price benchmarking, vendor management, process analysis, market and industry research, and model buildingConducts minor contract negotiationsGathers information and provides input on larger contractsManages loading and retrieving of legal and compliance documents into applicable storage systems to support regulatory, audit and research activitiesAssists in the process of interviewing and evaluating sales representatives and vendorsSupports Six Sigma projects through active team membership or provision of data and market intelligenceInteracts with suppliers with regard to payments and order fulfillmentProcures services and goods, inventory, supplies, and capital goods (CIP)Compiling and managing Ariba IAC's (Invoice against Contracts) - (CIP)Low complexity /risk sourcing work and contract development under supervision**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
