    Description

    Our client located in Athol, MA is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join their growing team!

    Your qualifications for the Strategic Sourcing Analyst position are as follows:
     
    • 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience sourcing raw materials, components, and production-related services
    • Technical proficiency including MS Office Suite with advanced MS Excel skills, ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred); Power BI or Tableau experience a plus  
    • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, supplier management, and total cost of ownership concepts
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPM, or other relevant supply chain certification a plus

    For the Strategic Sourcing Analyst position your duties will include:
     
    • Develop and execute strategies to source high-quality materials, components, and services
    • Issue purchase orders and manage procurement activities to support production requirements
    • Work with internal teams to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate supplier agreements, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and drive continuous cost savings
    • Lead RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations
    • Cultivate strong supplier relationships
    • Maintain accurate records within the ERP system
    • Analyze spend, supplier, inventory, and market data; develop executive-level dashboards and reports; and present recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making  
    • Other tasks as assigned
