Our client located in Athol, MA is looking for a
Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join their growing team!
Your qualifications for the Strategic Sourcing Analyst position are as follows:
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience sourcing raw materials, components, and production-related services
- Technical proficiency including MS Office Suite with advanced MS Excel skills, ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred); Power BI or Tableau experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, supplier management, and total cost of ownership concepts
- Excellent negotiation, communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPM, or other relevant supply chain certification a plus
Benefits you will receive as the Strategic Sourcing Analyst:
- Pay based on experience, $110,000-$150,000
- Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
For the Strategic Sourcing Analyst position your duties will include:
- Develop and execute strategies to source high-quality materials, components, and services
- Issue purchase orders and manage procurement activities to support production requirements
- Work with internal teams to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate supplier agreements, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and drive continuous cost savings
- Lead RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships
- Maintain accurate records within the ERP system
- Analyze spend, supplier, inventory, and market data; develop executive-level dashboards and reports; and present recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Other tasks as assigned
