    Job Description:

    The Strategic Sourcing Administrator provides administrative, analytical, and operational support to the Strategic Sourcing team. This role is responsible for maintaining procurement and supplier data, supporting sourcing and contracting activities, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sourcing documentation and systems. The position plays a key role in supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier management processes, and continuous improvement efforts that contribute to organizational cost savings, compliance, and operational efficiency.

    The Strategic Sourcing Administrator works closely with sourcing professionals, internal stakeholders, and supplier partners to facilitate procurement activities, manage records, generate reports, and support day-to-day sourcing operations. Success in this role requires strong organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills, along with a high level of attention to detail.

    The ideal candidate leverages a combination of education and professional experience to independently manage strategic initiatives, solve complex business challenges, and make sound, data-driven decisions. This role supports a broad range of business functions, including Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Administration, Asset Management, reporting, and operational activities, with responsibilities evolving to meet organizational needs. The Strategic Sourcing Administrator works in a professional, business-casual office environment and collaborates extensively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external supplier partners to drive operational efficiency, support strategic objectives, and deliver business value.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support contract administration activities, including document preparation, routing, execution, tracking, and records management to ensure contract compliance and accessibility.
    • Perform post-award RFP audits to validate process adherence and support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Manage and maintain contract databases within Microsoft Access to ensure accurate contract tracking and reporting.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing timely information related to suppliers, contracts, and sourcing initiatives.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance sourcing and procurement operations.
    • Maintain accurate and compliant procurement records, supplier files, and sourcing documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract administration, or a related administrative support role.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

    • Demonstrates strong prioritization and organizational skills, effectively managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
    • Works collaboratively as a team member while building positive relationships across functions and departments.
    • Exhibits a high level of personal accountability, ownership, and commitment to delivering quality results.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, and concepts and apply them effectively.
    • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a regulated and compliance-driven environment.
    • Communicates clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
    • Builds effective working relationships and collaborates daily with administrative staff, business professionals, leadership, and management teams.

    • Days: Monday - Friday
    • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30pm (flex time) will discuss
    • This position is NOT remote
    • Has a one (1) year commitment.
