Description

Overview

MCAPS-Core accelerates customer outcomes and business growth. By uniting product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and partners around a common customer mission, we help customers realize value faster and turn innovation into measurable business impact. Through deep technical expertise and differentiated go-to-market execution, we win competitively, capture market share, and scale repeatable growth motions. We differentiate through value creation - delivering world-class, AI-powered customer experiences that accelerate adoption, strengthen loyalty, and create sustainable competitive advantage, driving growth that outpaces the market.

The Global Strategy & Operations organization under Customer & Commercial Solutions (C&CS) within MCAPS Core helps define the operating rhythms, governance mechanisms, and cross-functional execution systems that connect commercial strategy to action across the business.

This role requires a creative, systems-oriented leader who can think outside the box, challenge traditional approaches to executive governance, and build repeatable mechanisms that allow the cohort engine to scale on its own. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable shaping strategy, designing processes, experimenting with AI-enabled workflows, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring operational follow-through is completed with rigor. Candidates should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, influencing without authority, and balancing strategic judgment with operational excellence. The role is best suited for someone who can connect meeting effectiveness, executive storytelling, action accountability, AI-enabled knowledge management, and business execution into a durable operating model.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Cohort Orchestration & Meeting Effectiveness: Own the operating model for leadership cohorts and executive governance forums. Ensure meetings are well-structured, outcome-oriented, and connected to business priorities, with clear expectations before, during, and after each cohort discussion.
  • Decision Capture & Action Follow-Through: Translate the richness of cohort discussions into documented decisions, actionable next steps, accountable owners, and visible follow-through. Establish mechanisms to ensure actions are routed, tracked, and closed with the right level of governance and escalation.
  • Transcript Analysis & Meeting Intelligence: Use transcripts, meeting artifacts, stakeholder feedback, and AI-enabled analysis to extract key themes, decisions, commitments, risks, dependencies, and follow-up needs. Convert unstructured discussion into structured insights and execution-ready outputs.
  • Targeted Persona Recaps & Stakeholder Communication: Design and scale targeted recap models that get the right information to the right people. Create persona-based summaries for executives, Chiefs of Staff, business owners, action owners, and downstream teams so each audience receives the context and next steps needed to execute.
  • Systems & Process Design: Create durable systems, standards, templates, workflows, and operating procedures that allow the cohort motion to scale consistently. Build mechanisms that reduce dependency on individual heroics and allow the engine to operate with repeatable quality.
  • Action Governance & Accountability: Drive consistent governance for action management, including ownership, due dates, prioritization, dependencies, status reporting, and closure discipline. Improve transparency and accountability across cross-functional teams responsible for execution.
  • Executive Governance & Business Rhythm Alignment: Partner with executives, Chiefs of Staff, and business leaders to ensure cohort outputs feed into broader business rhythms, planning cycles, leadership reviews, and execution forums. Maintain alignment between cohort discussions and MCAPS priorities.
  • Insight Synthesis & Continuous Improvement: Analyze meeting effectiveness, recap consumption, action completion, stakeholder feedback, and recurring business themes to identify improvements. Develop recommendations that increase cohort value, reduce noise, and improve organizational velocity.
  • Platform & Tooling Partnership: Partner with engineering, business process, productivity, and operations teams to improve the tools and platforms that support cohort management, transcript analysis, action systems, reporting, and knowledge distribution.
  • Embody Microsoft Culture & Values: Model Microsoft's values through growth mindset, customer obsession, inclusion, collaboration, integrity, and accountability for durable business outcomes.
