About the Role
A fast-growing, profitable travel marketplace is bringing to market an AI-powered digital guide designed to transform how visitors experience iconic attractions worldwide. This is a founding commercial hire for a genuinely new category of product, meaning there is no existing playbook to follow and no crowded field to compete in. The person in this seat will own net-new revenue from day one, help define the commercial strategy, and work directly with senior leadership including the CEO as the company scales toward a public offering.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, high-energy, and the kind of person who makes a room feel different when they walk in. They bring a strong track record of closing complex, consultative sales cycles and are comfortable building something from scratch. They use AI tools as a real part of how they work, not just for simple tasks. A history of career growth, outsized quota attainment, or demonstrated excellence in any competitive pursuit (professional, athletic, creative, or otherwise) are all strong signals. Candidates who have held multiple one-year stints without a clear pattern of growth are not a fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales lifecycle from outbound prospecting through contract close and long-term account growth
- Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with iconic attractions and venues across domestic and international markets
- Define and iterate on the commercial playbook for a zero-to-one product with no existing market category
- Build and manage a pipeline using Salesforce, HubSpot, and AI-powered sales tools
- Educate prospective partners on a new category of experience, creating demand rather than responding to it
- Collaborate closely with product, growth, operations, and leadership teams to align commercial strategy with product direction
- Represent the company across global markets, bringing cultural awareness and adaptability to every conversation
- Report directly to the GM, North America and contribute to broader go-to-market decisions at the leadership level
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 to 8 years of experience as an enterprise Account Executive at a SaaS or AI company
- Demonstrated track record of closing consultative, end-to-end sales cycles
- Meaningful, hands-on use of AI tools in daily work (beyond basic email or search)
- High energy and genuine passion for building new business lines in ambiguous environments
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (US citizens and green card holders; exceptions considered for truly exceptional candidates)
- Proficiency with Salesforce and HubSpot
Preferred Skills
- Experience with zero-to-one or category-creation sales motions
- Network in AI partnerships or background at a recognized AI company
- History of rapid promotions, Presidents Club recognition, or quota attainment well above target
- Demonstrated excellence in a competitive field outside of work, such as athletics, music, gaming, or similar
- Diverse background and perspective that adds to team dynamics
