Our mission is simple: to build value for our customers, employees, suppliers, and communities by bringing the best products, the best people, and the best ideas.What You'll DoAs a Straight Truck Driver, you'll safely operate a company straight truck while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries along established routes. Responsibilities include:Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks in accordance with DOT regulations. Verifying route information, invoices, and loaded products before departure. Delivering and unloading food products at customer locations using hand trucks and dollies.Verifying deliveries, obtaining customer signatures, and collecting payments when required.Communicating with management regarding delivery discrepancies, returns, or customer concerns.Maintaining accurate DOT logs, vehicle reports, and delivery documentation. Working closely with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure efficient operations. Providing exceptional customer service and representing Upper Lakes Foods in a professional manner at every stop.What We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates will bring a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset. Ideal qualifications include: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.High school diploma or equivalent.Previous delivery, driving, or customer service experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers. Dependability and consistent attendance.Physical RequirementsThis is an active position that requires frequent lifting, unloading, and product handling.
