Position Details:

Position Title: Stores Utility Operator
Location: Washington, WV
Department: Stores
Rate: $17.85hr.
Hours: M-F (Day Shift)

Benefits: Eligible for complete benefits package after 90 days

Overview/Summary:

The Site Stores Utility is tasked with providing support to site stores/receiving operations. This includes safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy relating to receipts, internal movements, inventory, issuing and delivering materials, mail and shipping documents while meeting or exceeding the cost objectives of the client.

What You Will do:

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Perform the required tasks safely and with little supervision.
• Be familiar with computers and be able to utilize site inventory control systems.
• Use pallet jacks, dock leveler, gas fork truck and standup fork truck.
• Unload trucks and identify damaged material/containers upon arrival.
• Sort material and receive into inventory control system.
• Reconcile material receiving issues.
• Deliver packages and freight as needed.
• Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Monitor stores email and phones.
• Utilize barcode label and scanning equipment.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties.
• Understand and follow all safety guidelines.
• Various other tasks related to stores operations as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and be able to work occasional overtime.
• Candidates are required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and distances
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/55 max.
