The Storeroom Attendant will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory, parts, tools, and materials at the customer’s facility. The role requires solid forklift experience, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Job Description:
The Storeroom Attendant will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory, parts, tools, and materials at the customer’s facility. The role requires solid forklift experience, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, sort, label, and store incoming materials.
- Issue parts, tools, equipment, and materials to employees.
- Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records using computer systems.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
- Assist with receiving activities and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Organize materials in racks, shelves, bins, and storage areas.
- Locate misplaced tools, equipment, and safety supplies.
- Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear and report issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform other warehouse/storeroom duties as assigned.
- Solid prior forklift/fork truck experience; client will certify but will not provide forklift training.
- Warehouse, material handling, receiving, stocking, picking, or inventory experience.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter/retrieve inventory information.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, and measurements.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, work orders, and operating instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform other physical warehouse activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- 3+ months of relevant warehouse/material-handling experience and/or training preferred.
