We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Firearms Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a reputable firearms retail store. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth firearms knowledge, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day store operations, including sales, inventory, and staff supervision
Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws and ATF regulations
Lead, train, and motivate a sales team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
Oversee firearms inventory, transfers, background check procedures, and recordkeeping
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure retail environment
Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and product expertise
Monitor sales performance, set goals, and implement strategies to drive revenue
Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and compliance authorities as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in firearms retail or a related industry
Strong working knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and accessories
Thorough understanding of firearms laws and compliance requirements
Leadership or management experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to pass required background checks
