Store Manager

Position Overview: The Store Manager is responsible for leading and supporting a retail team while providing customers with exceptional service and product guidance. The Store Manager also coaches and supports sales associates, helps achieve sales and productivity goals, and represents GNC in the community.

Position Overview:

The Store Manager is responsible for leading and supporting a retail team while providing customers with exceptional service and product guidance. The position oversees daily store operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory, cash handling, and customer relationships. The Store Manager also coaches and supports sales associates, helps achieve sales and productivity goals, and represents GNC in the community. This is a full-time, hourly supervisory position.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support store associates to provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, cash handling, and deposits.
• Manage product merchandising according to GNC standards.
• Support sales initiatives and build strong customer relationships.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while supporting team performance.
• Recruit, hire, and provide ongoing performance feedback to store associates.
• Participate in community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public events to promote GNC.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated leadership and managerial skills.
• Strong ability to build and support effective teams.
• Ability to provide feedback regarding employee performance.
• Ability to achieve personal sales and productivity goals.
• Ability to support sales associates in reaching their sales potential.
• Ability to work five days/40 hours per week.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day and frequently lift up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.

Pay Range: USD $22.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
