    THE DIFFERENCE YOU WILL MAKE 
    The Store Manager oversees the daily operations, business development, sales, and gross profit growth of the store. Responsibilities include engaging with end-user and commercial printing customers, managing a small team, maintaining an appealing store image, and fostering a secure environment.
     
    CORE FUNCTIONS OF THIS ROLE 
    • Assume full responsibility for ensuring smooth operations and adequate staffing throughout the day to deliver top-notch service to customers
    • Efficiently manage customer requests for quotations, orders, changes, cancellations, and lead times via –in person sales, telephone, email, and ecommerce.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary representative of Millcraft in customer interactions
    • Utilize our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to enter daily orders, with priority given to same-day and next-day deliveries, and access customer static and order information
    • Conduct sales calls to current and potential customers, executing sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed company growth objectives
    • Identify key target customers and monitor progress through metrics, managing key account relationships, providing solutions, and driving customer retention and growth
    • Coordinate with Supply Chain management and vendors to order and maintain appropriate inventory levels
    • Support Accounts Receivable and Credit activities, including reviewing the open account aging report, addressing credit-hold issues, and accepting payments, including periodic deposits and providing banking details as needed in collaboration with Finance/Accounting
    • Execute proper utilization of CRM and customer communication.
    • Capable of using MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
    • Coordinate with store personnel and external sources to ensure efficient movement of paper to customers
    • Recruit, train, develop, evaluate, schedule, and retain store personnel, managing time and attendance using ADP’s Time and Attendance system
    • Ensure compliance with all company procedures and practices
    • Follow all Millcraft policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook and departmental SOPs
    • Ensure a safe working environment by strictly following all safety protocols and standards including reporting unsafe conditions, near-misses and incidents immediately to your manager
    • Demonstrate the Millcraft Core Values (Family, Responsible, Passion, Deliver, Aspire and FUN) in day-to-day work and interactions
    • Other duties as needed for the business.

    • Commitment to Customer Service: You prioritize exceptional customer service, recognizing its critical importance in building lasting relationships and enhancing the overall shopping experience
    • Technical Proficiency: You demonstrate proficiency in utilizing technology, including familiarity with Internet applications and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerBi and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly advantageous
    • Organizational Skills: Your strong organizational abilities are evident in your ability to maintain a clean, secure, and well-structured store environment. You ensure that every aspect of the store, from layout to warehouse operations, reflects a commitment to orderliness and safety
    • Physical Capability: You have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move objects weighing at least 75lbs, ensuring that you can effectively manage tasks that require physical exertion
    • 4-year degree in a field including business, marketing or communications is preferred
    • 3-5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a retail/wholesale sales and service environment
    • Paper (terminology and grades), packaging, wide format, janitorial and office supply experience is highly beneficial and preferred
    • Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures, and actively embody our core values in every interaction and responsibility. (Include in all JD’s)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to lift items that weigh a minimum of 50lbs regularly
