Store Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team in Columbus as a Store Designer. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your designs will shape the future of our retail spaces. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative store designs that align with our brand's design guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs ranging from floor plans to storefront elevations.
• Create material takeoffs and communicate revisions to the Construction team.
• Generate ideas for new concepts including store architecture, fixtures, storefronts, lighting, layout, and space planning.
• Assist in reviewing construction drawings to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Present designs to leadership, incorporate feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
• Review site information from landlords and drawings from consultants.
• Resolve design guidance issues with purchasing and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design from a Council for Interior Design Accreditation institution or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in retail design within a corporate environment or a design consultancy firm.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
