Associated Staffing is hiring a dependable and customer-focused Store Clerk/Cashier in Hastings, NE! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service and keeping a busy retail environment running smoothly.
We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, including 2nd shift and every other weekend.
Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous customer service.
Operate a cash register, process transactions and accurately handle cash payments.
Stock shelves, organize merchandise and maintain inventory.
Load and unload products and deliveries.
Change beverage syrup containers (pop BIBs) and maintain dispensing equipment.
Clean and maintain store areas, including restrooms, floors, beverage stations and service areas.
Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the store.
Assist with inventory counts and other assigned store duties.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to accurately handle cash and make change.
Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable standing for extended periods, bending and performing physical tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work assigned shifts, including every other weekend.

Selected candidates must attend a required orientation in Hastings before beginning work. Orientation is typically held on Mondays and lasts approximately four hours. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process.
