Overview

This is a storage infrastructure role focused on managing and supporting enterprise storage environments while ensuring compatibility and connectivity across both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining storage performance, configuring SAN/NAS solutions, troubleshooting IPv6-related issues, and supporting backup and disaster recovery operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and Direct Attached Storage, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure storage technologies to communicate over IPv6 in addition to IPv4.
• Monitor storage capacity, health, and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
• Manage IPv6 configurations and troubleshoot IPv6 network issues related to storage systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting storage solutions including SAN, INAS, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of IPv6 networking, addressing, routing, subnetting, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience configuring and managing storage systems and IPv6 networks.
• Ability to monitor storage performance and perform backups and disaster recovery.
