Job Title: Stockroom Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, stockroom operations, and daily team activities to ensure efficient and safe warehouse performance. This role supervises staff, manages inventory control processes, enforces operational standards, and maintains inventory bin-level accuracy to support business operations and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Stockroom Operations Management:
Supervise and coordinate daily stockroom operations and workflow.
Enforce safety, housekeeping, and operational standards within the stockroom
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy and Labor management.
Support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented as required. productivity, on-time fulfillment, and cycle count results.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Inventory Management Systems:
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy at the item and bin location level.
Oversee cycle count programs, physical inventories, and inventory audits to validate stock accuracy.
Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure proper product identification, labeling, storage, and location management.
Train and coach stockroom personnel on inventory management procedures, transaction accuracy, and inventory control standards.
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS):
Understand and implement WMS best practices to improve stockroom workflows and inventory accuracy.
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and monitor stockroom staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company policies.
Conduct performance evaluations, address personnel issues, and promote a positive work environment.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all dock operations.
Conduct regular safety audits and address hazards proactively.
