Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse / Inventory Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have warehouse or inventory experience, basic computer skills, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with warehouse and inventory operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse software and computer systems.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment and machinery when authorized and properly trained.
- Break down boxes and pallets and maintain an organized work area.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operational goals.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- General computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or inventory software experience.
- Team-oriented, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Valid driver's license required for operating designated heavy machinery.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including breaking down boxes and pallets for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Previous forklift and order picker experience.
