Position Summary

The Inventory & Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, tracking, and shipment of program parts and consumable materials supporting F‑22 depot operations. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper labeling, and timely distribution of items while maintaining compliance with Lockheed Martin property‑control procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receive & Inspect Shipments
• Verify incoming cargo against shipping/receiving documents.
• Identify damaged or discrepant items; resolve minor discrepancies and escalate serious issues to the Lead or Senior Site Representative (SSR).
• Inventory Management
• Maintain up‑to‑date electronic inventory records.
• Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and periodic reporting.
• Apply LM property tags to assets as required.
• Material Handling & Packaging
• Stock shelves and populate kits with consumables.
• Prepare, label, and pack outgoing materials for shipment.
• Generate shipping documents, hand receipts, and tracking information; reconcile any shipment discrepancies.
• Support Depot Operations
• Provide inventory, storage, and issuance support for program parts used in F‑22 depot work.
• Follow established procedures for material storage and handling.
• Communication & Reporting
• Report major or recurring problems to the SSR.
• Communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in material control, supply/inventory, warehouse, or supply‑chain management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Ability to work independently and act as a self‑starter.

Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Must have a valid drivers license.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with inventory control systems and basic material handling.

Familiarity with property‑tagging and compliance procedures.

Desired Skills

• Prior experience in a military or aerospace logistics environment.
• Knowledge of F‑22 or other aircraft depot operations.
• Ability to interpret shipping/receiving documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Familiarity with supporting Air Force depot maintenance.
• Working knowledge of weapon‑system support and process management.
• Understanding of supply‑chain management and inventory control principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Self‑starter attitude with proactive problem‑solving.
• Familiarity with part numbers and National Stock Number (NSN) identification and usage.

Pay Information

• This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) with an hourly wage of no less than <$ insert rate> per hour.

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
