We are currently looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The Dishwasher will maintain the kitchen and all equipment in a sanitary condition. All duties will be performed within the guidelines of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some experience cleaning kitchens.
The benefits listed below are dependent on number of hours worked.
Responsibilities
- Loads dishwasher with dirty dishes as needed
- Ensures that the dishwasher machine is cleaning properly
- Maintains a clean workstation at all times
- Ensures that the dishes are clean and sanitized
- Sweeps and mops kitchen and cleans walls as needed
- Cleans pots and pans
- Supports the cooks during busy operation periods
- Follows all company policies, procedures, and standards regarding job duties, attendance, personal appearance and demeanor, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have experience cleaning kitchens
- Must be a hard worker
- Must be able to speak and hear, use close and distance vision, and identify and distinguish colors
- Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
