This is a vital role that keeps our practice running safely and efficiently, ensuring every patient receives care in a clean and sterile environment. Responsibilities:- Clean, sterilize, and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
- Operate and maintain autoclave and other sterilization equipment
- Organize and restock treatment rooms and instrument trays between patient appointments
- Monitor and document sterilization cycles to ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and notify lead assistant when restocking is needed
- Support clinical staff by ensuring instruments and materials are ready and available at all times
