Sterile Processing Technician I

The Essentials:

Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | 2nd Shift

Location: Hospital - 3557 Embassy Pkwy, Akron, OH 44333 | On-Site

Specialties: Sterile Processing

What you'll do:

• Provide clean and sterile supplies and equipment through decontamination, cleaning, packaging, sterilization and storage with inventory of all surgical instrumentation.
• Clean, sterilize and assemble equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques
• Support surgical patient care team by performing multifunctional activities including setting up instrument trays, maintaining proper documentation, and daily records

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED or degree in Sterile Processing
• Experience: One to Two years of sterile processing experience preferred
• Certification: Central Processing / Sterilization Processing certification preferred
