Sterile Processing Technician Full Time

We are a busy ambulatory surgery center currently seeking a Full-time Sterile Processing Technician who will be responsible for the care and preparation of surgical instruments. The technician will maintain and establish inventory levels by checking supplies and instruments. The technician will perform the appropriate testing of all sterilizers, decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, storage, and keep accurate records as well as ordering supplies for the area.  This candidate will also have knowledge of standard precautions, aseptic technique and principles of sterilization and instrument handling. 

Candidate must have 2 years' experience and a BLS card.  No nights, no weekends, no holidays, no call. Quarterly bonuses possible after probation period.  

Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Sterile processing technician experience, 2 years or equivalent experience in hospital Central Supply department.

REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

No license required.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
