What Youll Do
- Lead daily sterile processing operations, overseeing workflow and staff coordination
- Prepare, decontaminate, sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and supplies
- Ensure all surgical instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and functioning before use
- Support quality control initiatives, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Utilize documentation systems such as Censitrac to maintain accurate instrument tracking and quality standards
- Support hospital and department policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency
What You Need
Required:- Active certification: HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD
- Minimum 4 years of sterile processing experience
- Previous leadership or charge experience in a surgical environment
Preferred:- Experience working in a teaching hospital or Level I Trauma Center
- Ability to support floating between multiple hospital locations if needed
