What Youll Do
- Perform sterile processing functions supporting surgical services.
- Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Prepare sterile supplies and instrument sets for surgical procedures.
- Follow established infection prevention, sterilization, and department safety procedures.
- Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness, function, and readiness for use.
- Maintain accurate processing and sterilization documentation.
- Coordinate workflow to help ensure surgical services receive required instruments and supplies on time.
What You Need
Required- CBSPD certification.
- IAHCSMM/HSPA certification.
- At least 2 years of sterile processing experience.
- Previous travel experience; first-time travelers are not accepted.
- Ability to work the assigned mid shift and participate in rotating weekend call.
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures and surgical instrumentation.
