What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and trays for daily procedures
  • Maintain strict aseptic procedures during instrument processing
  • Manage large case volumes in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma environment
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and perioperative staff to ensure timely readiness of supplies
  • Follow hospital policies and manufacturer instructions for sterilization and reprocessing
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed records
  • Support the surgical teams during total joints, neuro spine, craniotomy, open heart, and transplant surgeries


What You Need:
Required:
  • Current certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA (in hand)
  • Trauma Level I clinical experience or equivalent
  • Ability to work the scheduled shift reliably and efficiently

Preferred:
  • Experience with high-volume tray processing (average 393 trays/day)
  • Familiarity with total joint, neuro, cardiac, and transplant surgical environments
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
