What Youll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment, including drills, da Vinci components, and scopes.
- Assemble instruments for all service lines, including trauma cases, loaner instruments, and peel packaging.
- Perform sterilization using steam and STERRAD processes.
- Complete high-level disinfection and scope processing.
- Manage sterile storage and maintain appropriate instrument availability.
- Serve as a liaison between Sterile Processing and the Operating Room.
- Track instruments and related activity using the CensiTrac system.
- Float to other locations as scheduled and work occasional holidays when required.
What You Need
Required:- CBSPD or CRCST certification through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM.
- At least 3 years of sterile processing experience in a similar facility.
- Experience with decontamination, assembly, sterilization, high-level disinfection, scopes, and sterile storage.
- Experience supporting multiple surgical service lines.
- Ability to work the scheduled FridaySunday overnight shift and occasional holidays.
Preferred:- Operating Room liaison experience.
- CensiTrac tracking system experience.
- Experience with trauma, loaner instruments, peel packaging, drills, or da Vinci equipment.
