What Youll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments including drills, scopes, and robotic equipment (e.g., Davinci)
- Assemble instruments across all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel-packed items
- Perform sterilization processes using both sterrad and steam methods
- Handle high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing
- Manage sterile storage areas effectively
- Coordinate with OR staff as a liaison for instrument needs
- Track instruments and supplies using the Censitrac system
What You Need
Required:- Certification in either CBSPD or CRCST (via HSPA or IAHCSMM)
- 3+ years of experience in sterile processing within a hospital or trauma center
- Familiarity with decontamination, sterilization, and scope reprocessing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred:- Experience with Censitrac tracking system
- Prior experience in a Level One trauma setting
- Ability to float to other locations if needed
