What Youll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment, including drills, robotic equipment, and scopes.
- Assemble instruments for all surgical service lines, including trauma cases and loaner instrumentation.
- Prepare peel packs and other items for sterilization.
- Perform sterilization using steam and STERRAD processes.
- Complete high-level disinfection and scope processing.
- Organize and maintain sterile storage areas.
- Support operating room coordination and serve as a liaison when needed.
- Track instruments and equipment using the CensiTrac tracking system.
- Float to other locations as assigned and work occasional scheduled holidays.
What You Need
Required
- CBSPD certification or CRCST certification through HSPA.
- At least 3 years of sterile processing experience in a comparable high-volume facility.
- Experience with decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage.
- Experience with steam and STERRAD sterilization processes.
- High-level disinfection and scope-processing experience.
- Ability to work the overnight MondayFriday schedule.
Preferred
- Experience in a Level I trauma facility.
- Experience supporting trauma, loaner instrumentation, robotic equipment, and operating room services.
- CensiTrac tracking system experience.
- Operating room liaison experience.
