Sterile Processing Tech

Position Summary: Responsible for the sterilization of appropriate instruments within the hospital and clinic, under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager with input from the OR Charge Nurse. Completion of Sterile Processing Certification Program preferred, or two years experience in an Operating Room instrumentation area or related field.

 Responsible for the sterilization of appropriate instruments within the hospital and clinic, under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager with input from the OR Charge Nurse.

 

 

Qualifications: High School graduate or GED. Completion of Sterile Processing Certification Program preferred, or two years experience in an Operating Room instrumentation area or related field. Must be able to stand for long periods of time walking and lifting up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
