Lead a cohort-based learning community for STEM majors promoting scholarly excellence and leadership development to enable students to become change leaders In STEM fields. Report to the Director of the Center for Academic Success and serve as a member of the UVM HHMI Success in STEM grant team leadership team. Provide program leadership and manage day to day operations, build community, offer direct student support, cross-campus collaboration, and leadership development. Coordinate academic year programming and a six-week Summer Bridge experience for incoming students.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Master's degree and 3 years of related experience in STEM-based programs, residential or other cohort-based learning communities or similar programs supporting college student success.
• Effective skills in program oversight and management, building welcoming and inclusive communities, student leadership development, educational program design and facilitation, communications and event planning and execution.
• Ability to integrate and effectively use digital platforms, tools, and technologies.

Desirable Qualifications Anticipated Pay Range $67,000-$69,000 Other Information Special Conditions Weekend work required, Non-standard work hours required, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions FLSA Exempt Union Position Yes, UVMSU
