We're hiring a Stellantis-certified Automotive Technician specializing in heavy-line gasoline work. This opportunity is for an experienced dealership technician who can diagnose complex mechanical concerns, complete major repairs, and take pride in getting the job done right.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair gasoline engines in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles.
Perform engine teardown, inspection, rebuilding, and replacement.
Repair cylinder heads, valvetrain components, timing systems, internal engine components, and related systems.
Diagnose engine performance concerns, compression loss, overheating, oil consumption, and mechanical failures.
Follow manufacturer repair procedures and warranty documentation requirements.
Record diagnostic findings, labor performed, and parts needed accurately.
Communicate clearly with service advisors about repair recommendations and job progress.
Verify completed repairs through testing and quality checks.
Qualifications
Current Stellantis certification relevant to engine repair.
Proven heavy-line gasoline repair experience in a franchised dealership.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to identify the root cause of mechanical failures.
Ability to read and follow manufacturer service information.
Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and specialty tools.
Appropriate tools for the position.
Valid driver's license.
Commitment to quality workmanship, shop safety, and professional teamwork.
