Steel Fabrication Shop Safety Coordinator - Katy, TX

Ready to own safety on a busy fabrication floor? A steel fabrication shop in Katy, TX, on Houston's west side, is hiring a Safety Coordinator. The role comes with incredible benefits, room to grow, and about 10 hours of overtime every week.

Your Responsibilities

• Run daily safety programs throughout the fabrication shop
• Hold toolbox talks, safety trainings and new-hire orientations
• Complete inspections and audits and correct hazards on the spot
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA records and documentation current
• Team up with shop leadership to grow a strong safety culture

What We're Looking For

• Safety experience in a fabrication, manufacturing or construction setting
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong communication skills and comfort on a shop floor
• Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, with about 10 hours of overtime per week
