Steel Fabrication Shop Safety Coordinator

Ready to be the go-to safety leader on a busy fabrication floor? A steel fabrication shop in Katy, TX, on Houston's west side, is hiring a Safety Coordinator to keep its shop team safe. The role comes with incredible benefits, a clear growth opportunity, and about 10 hours of overtime every week.

Your Day-to-Day

• Run the daily safety programs on the fabrication shop floor
• Hold toolbox talks and safety trainings, and onboard new hires with safety orientations
• Complete inspections and audits and get hazards corrected
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA records and documentation current
• Team up with shop leadership to grow a strong safety culture

What We're Looking For

• Safety experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or construction setting
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong communicator who is comfortable on a shop floor
• Able to work on-site in Katy, TX, with about 10 hours of overtime per week
