Steel Erection Business Development Lead

Lead client development for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector winning Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. The permanent full-time Business Development Manager seat comes with $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.

Priorities

• Develop steel erection opportunities with general contractors and owners
• Own pursuit strategy on structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Watch competitor moves, bid timing, and the regional project pipeline
• Travel across the Midwest to build relationships and keep pursuits moving
• Serve as a trusted face for an AISC-certified Michigan erector

Experience we look for

• BD or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• History of securing large Midwest tonnage awards
• A network among general contractors, fabricators, or owners is a plus
• Comfortable with Midwest travel
• Communicator who turns interest into signed work
