    Picture yourself as the guardian of our high‑pressure steam systems—anticipating issues, dialing in performance, and safeguarding uptime. If you enjoy solving complex mechanical puzzles and collaborating across disciplines, this role is for you.

    Your Mission

    Own the operation, optimization, and care of high‑pressure boilers and related equipment so our facilities run safely and efficiently.

    Key Outcomes

    • Operate boiler plants to exacting safety, procedural, and regulatory standards.
    • Use gauges, control panels, and building automation insights to adjust settings for peak efficiency.
    • Conduct frequent inspections of boilers, pumps, valves, and auxiliaries; catch and correct issues using visual checks and diagnostics.
    • Diagnose and repair mechanical and controls problems guided by schematics, technical drawings, and proven engineering methods.
    • Maintain precise logs of operations, maintenance, and safety verifications for compliance and reporting.
    • Execute preventive tasks—cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and targeted part replacements—to avoid failures.
    • Apply welding skills to small‑scale repairs on boiler components and piping when appropriate.
    • Leverage P&IDs and drawings to drive accurate fixes and thoughtful system upgrades.
    • Team up with engineering to resolve cross‑system issues involving hydraulics, HVAC/R, and building automation controls.
    • Model safety excellence around high‑pressure steam; engage fully in audits and continuous training.

    What Sets You Up for Success

    • Background operating high‑pressure steam boilers in industrial or large commercial environments.
    • Deep mechanical know‑how across boiler mechanics, industrial equipment repairs, and troubleshooting.
    • Fluency with schematics, control documentation, and technical prints.
    • Track record handling maintenance, including welding and complex machinery repairs.
    • Working understanding of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, BAS controls, and structured troubleshooting.
    • Experience partnering with industrial mechanics in maintenance or field service on complex assets.
    • Creative problem solver with a service‑first approach to meet operational needs.
    • Boiler or industrial maintenance certifications/licenses welcomed, not required.
