Description:

Position Purpose:
Position performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the Hospital complex in an effort to maintain Plant Operations 24/7. Duties include repairs, monitoring and reporting problems with machinery, systems and mechanical equipment, heating, ventilation equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, Building Management Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems. Professionally and safely operates the boilers, compressors, which provides for utilities such as light, heat and power. Position must be able to make independent and timely decisions on all Shifts. Responds to off shift Engineering calls. Performs relief work on assigned fluctuating work hours on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
