Required Skills:

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in petrochemical, refining, LNG, chemical, or power plants.
• Strong knowledge of static equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping systems.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, TEMA, and other relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, inspection reports, and vendor data.
• Proven troubleshooting skills related to damage mechanisms, corrosion, vibration, and mechanical integrity.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting and presenting technical recommendations.
• Practical field engineering judgment with safety-first mindset.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supporting LNG, cryogenic, or process plant equipment.
• Knowledge of pipe stress analysis (CAESAR II), vibration troubleshooting, or flexibility assessments.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as PV Elite, HTRI, SAP, or Meridium.
• Certifications like API, PE, or Engineer-in-Training.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-10 years of relevant industry experience supporting static equipment in an industrial setting.

Other Requirements:

• Valid TWIC card.
• Willingness to support field activities, including inspections, field walkdowns, and outages.
• Ability to work occasional extended hours during turnarounds or high-priority events.
• Some travel to vendor sites or additional plant locations may be required.
